Amanda Podiak '10 (Tau) - *Susan G. Komen for the Cure*
"I spent the summer interning at the North Jersey Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. It was a wonderful work experience as well as a way to gain insight into Zeta's philanthropy. I assisted in everything from compiling lists of possible donors, organizing the 2009 Tie A Ribbon Campaign, to spending four days straight at the Lax for the Cure tournament talking to young girls about breast health. Seeing the grassroots aspect of the foundation was by far the most inspirational and I think it is something that we, as Zeta's, participate in through our service events."
